Wedding Etiquette

In General these days Etiquette is more about good organisation and thinking of the needs in your wedding party rather than a lot of do's and don'ts!

Make sure your guests have a comfortable and enjoyable time, it doesn't
have to cost a lot of money the more relaxed the atmosphere the more
enjoyment your guests will have.

Here are some helpful tips for planning your wedding...

1. On the day itself wake up and say to yourself 'ok, theres nothing more I can do now, if anything does go wrong it won't matter it's one day and I'm going to enjoy it!'

2. Make sure your chief bridesmaid and the best man know exactly what is going on during the day, draw up a plan if that helps.

3. When planning the table arrangements and deciding who is going to sit where, make sure people are with those they know they'll have a much more enjoyable time if they are in good company. Keep those you know who will have conflicting views away from each other! it's not the place to encourage people to try and sort out their differences and to get on! keep things smooth.

4. Have plenty of little things for the children; bubbles on the table, colouring, little tube of sweets, set them at their place on the table to make them feel special. It also tells the parents you understand that children find long ocassions difficult and you'll make them feel more relaxed.

5. For that special touch have personalised wine glass charms for place names available here. They will also double up as favours, an additional extra is a little pouch for your guests to take it home in, colours can be matched to your wedding theme by sending in a sample of material or colour.
